Sandra Bomar’s voice has been influenced by greats such as Nancy Wilson\, Sarah Vaughn\, Phyllis Hyman\, Gloria Lynne and Dinah Washington. She has established herself as a notable jazz stylist whose sultry voice can be heard around the Metro Detroit area in venues such as Baker’s Keyboard Lounge\, the DIA\, Bert’s Place\, the Dirty Dog Jazz Café\, Aretha’s Jazz Cafe\, Nikolas\, Omara’s and many others. \nSandra has also performed at the Detroit Jazz festival\, the Toronto Jazz Festival and the Michigan Jazz Festival as well as the legendary Greenmill in Chicago\, Il and as well a tour of the United Kingdom.  She has also performed in the stage production of Cheek to Cheek. He’s performed and/or recorded with Don Was\, Roy Ayers\, Ronnie Laws\, Jim “Moose” Brown\, Sponge\, The Motor City Horns\, The Dead String Brothers\, Kenny Tudrick\, Dave McMurray\, Thornetta Davis\, Kenny G\, Bob James\, Jeff Lorber\, and countless others. When not on tour\, Chris performs on piano\, organ and keyboard throughout the Metro Detroit area\, as well as at God Land Unity Church in Detroit every Sunday morning.

DESCRIPTION:Paul is well known for his associations with pianist/vocalist Diana Krall and guitarist Russell\nMalone. Paul has performed with jazz greats Joe Williams\, Cab Calloway\, Marian McPartland\,\nBarry Harris\, Jeff Hamilton\, Benny Golson\, Benny Green\, Jon Hendricks\, Wycliff Gordon\,\nMulgrew Miller\, Jay McShann and James Moody. He has played on over 50 CDs with artists\nsuch as Larry Vuckovich\, Eddie Higgins\, and Marcus Belgrave.\nPaul was honored by the West Michigan Jazz Society as their 2001 Jazz Musician of the Year\nand by the Detroit Music Awards as the 2002 Outstanding Jazz Instrumentalist. Keller is on the\nfaculty of the Wayne State University jazz department in Detroit. He travels frequently\, giving\njazz concerts\, workshops and clinics and is well-respected as an innovative and enthusiastic\njazz educator.

DESCRIPTION:Jazz vocalist Liz Smith has been an active member of the Detroit music scene for many years. Classically trained but always a true jazz head\, she made her debut as a young adolescent\, and worked her way through the clubs and bars throughout the metro area\, finding her way into such venues as Baker’s Keyboard Lounge and Cliff Bell’s Jazz & Blues Club. Today she holds a regular standing with her trio every Thursday night at Goodnite Gracie Jazz & Martini Bar in Royal\, and is a regular performer at The London Chophouse and Willis Show Bar in Detroit\, Vinotecca Wine Bar in downtown Birmingham\, Lily Pearl’s Lounge in Owosso\, and many others. A 2018 Detroit Music Award nominee\, her rich vocals bring an old-world feel; her sound often compared to that of the early American jazz icons of the thirties and forties.

DESCRIPTION:Kevin Kozol is a pianist\, composer and educator based in Chicago\, IL. He is one the founding members of the jazz fusion trio\, Spare Parts\, who are currently signed to Ropeadope Records. The trio’s last album\, “Warehaus West Sessions\, Vol.1\,” which received 5/5 stars in UK Vibe\, features Fareed Haque\, Bill Dickens and Rajiv Halim. Spare Parts is currently working on their 7th studio recording\, which will be released on Ropeadope Records later in 2019. Spare Parts has performed major festivals and venues both nationally and internationally over the years\, including Peru Jazz Festival (Lima)\, Chi-Town Jazz Festival\, Jazz Showcase\, Andy’s Jazz Club\, Dazzle Jazz\, Summer Camp Music Festival\, Wakarusa Music Festival\, House of Blues\, Metro\, and Congress Theater to name a few. Over the years\, Spare Parts has opened and shared the stage with musicians/artists such as Wayne Krantz\, Keith Carlock\, Victor Wooten\, George Clinton\, Lenny Pickett\, Marco Benevento\, Stanton Moore\, Liquid Soul\, The Jazz Mandolin Project and even Snoop Dogg.

DESCRIPTION:Born in Pittsburgh\, keyboard/vocalist Bill Heid has performed throughout the U.S.\, Canada\, South America\, Europe\, and\nthe Far East\, including a three year stay in Japan and nearly two years in China. From 1965 through the mid-70’s\, he\nworked the Hammond B-3 organ “chitlin clubs” with his own groups and with jazz greats such as Sonny Stitt\, David\n“Fathead” Newman\, Grachan Monchur\, Mickey Roker\, Joe Dukes\, Roger Humphries\, Rodney Whitaker\, Robert Hurst\,\nGrant Green\, Jimmy Ponder\, Bruce Foreman\, and Henry Johnson\, appearing on two Johnson albums for MCA/Impulse.\nFrom 1975 to 1984\, based in Chicago\, Bill toured with blues greats Jimmy Witherspoon\, John Lee Hooker\, Son Seals\,\nand Fenton Robinson\, playing on two albums with Robinson\, two with Ko Ko Taylor\, and another with Roy Buchanan\nfor Alligator Records.\nFrom 1984 through 1999\, Heid lived and worked in Detroit\, appearing on numerous records with Detroit blues artists\nJohnnie Bassett\, Joe Weaver\, and Alberta Adams\, which included sessions for Fedora\, Cannonball\, and Black Magic\nRecords\, and two European tours. In 2000\, he relocated to Washington D.C. and in 2002\, his group toured Viet Nam\,\nIndonesia\, Sri Lanka\, and Malaysia as Jazz Ambassadors for the U.S. State Department\, returning to those countries for\nan extended tour a year later\, then backed vocalist Jay Klum on another Ambassadors tour to five African countries in\n2004.\nBetween 1996 and 2003\, Bill recorded five organ group CDs for the Savant label\, a piano trio record for Doodlin’\nRecords\, and in 2008 and 2009\, two organ group CDs for Doodlin’\, both featuring guitarist Peter Bernstein. His\nkeyboard work can also be heard on numerous European TV shows and in the U.S. on PBS documentaries and NBC’s\n“Dateline” show.
